Halfway Point

Just a quick reminder that you still have 15 days to complete your act of kindness and enter my giveaway away HERE. The winner will receive a Sterling Silver Mustard Seed Necklace. Written on the back of the necklace is: If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed....nothing shall be impossible unto you MATT.17.20. Good Luck!!!

I wouldn't ask you all to do a random act of kindness and not do one myself, so I wanted to tell you all what I chose to do for mine. And I must say, I am super excited about this one! A week ago I went to a Casting Crowns concert and during the intermission they played a video that I've seen a time or two before but not thought much of it. It was a video for World Vision. World Vision is an organization dedicated to sponsoring the worlds neediest children from a variety of different locations all over the world. But then the lead singer of Casting Crown starting speaking about this organization and how he decided to sponsor a child he affectionately calls Bo for lack of proper pronunciation skills :) He went on to say that he chose this child because of his birthday. His son and Bo share the same birth date. He then said that we could all choose if we would like to to pick a child by birth date! I knew when he said this that I was in. I signed up to sponsor a child somewhere in the world who shares Bryston's birthday! I am so excited about this! What better way to honor Bryston than this? I am waiting to receive a package in the mail and to see a photo of this special little person! I cant wait to get this! For $35.00 a month I can drastically change this child's life as well as honor my sweet boy! So there you have it, that is my random act.

If you would like to check out World Vision you can check out there site at http://www.worldvision.org

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." ~Luke 6:38~

A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
~Proverbs 22:9~

The winner will be drawn on April 30th. I will do my best to announce the winner that day but if for unseen reasons occur I will announce the winner within a day or so of the 30th. Good Luck!

Jennifer :)

I completed my Random Act of Kindness this week....

There is an elderly lady who lives in my neighborhood and she loves plants and gardening...well, so do I. So, I commented to her that I was doing some Spring planting and she said she wished she could, but was not physically able. I offered to take her with me to the plant nursery and she was so excited. I selected all the flowers for her porch pots and also for the flower bed in front of her house. Then, I planted all of them for her. Just my way of brightening someone's day and hopefully she will enjoy the beauty they bring :)

Much Love and thank you for starting this "pass it on" kindness. The world needs more of this...

how neat...we love WV. What a special way to yet again honor Bryston. It is neat to do as many things possible to make his life a blessing to many.

We sponsor 2 little guys from uganda who have birthdays similar to Billy and Annie's.

:)

Great minds think alike Jennifer b/c after my first miscarriage I was at the Revolve tour with my youth girls and World Vision was there, and I did the same, not one of the kids had Layla's EDD, so I picked a precious little boy whose Birthday was the day I lost her, to know that there were good things that day, despite the bad! He is a cutie pie and I've been sponsoring him now for almost 2 years! His name is Brayan and he's from Colombia! I'm so glad you're doing this too!! What a blessing for them, that feels like so little effort from me! I'm working on more random acts of kindness and hope to report them to you soon!! What a legacy Bryston leaves!
